Trescore Islands

Three images showing the smooth grey rocks and turquoise waters of the Trescore Islands. Some paddleboarders float on the water and two dogs watch above.

The Trescore Islands are rocks really, sitting just off the shoreline between Porth Mear and Porthcothan, but oh what a beautiful spot on a calm sunny day. You need to scramble down the rocks from the coast path, but once there, access to the turquoise water is pretty easy. This gorgeous swim spot is popular with snorkelers and paddle boarders too, and you’ll be amazed at the amount of marine life you will see, including shimmering sand eels, moon jellyfish and plenty more.
